About the Medical Clinic
Who are we?
We are a registered private medical group entity in the territory of the Dominican Republic, established in 2013 focused on providing comprehensive, modern, high-quality healthcare. We are striving to develop a sustainable model to working with non-profit organizations with the aim of creating a permanent brick and mortar facility, which will focus on providing primary and preventive care (medical and dental) with access to affordable pharmaceutical resources to underserved population.
Our History
While practicing medicine in several hospitals in the Dominican Republic, my colleagues and I observed the great disparity and inequality in access to healthcare due to education, social and
economic background. We were left to ponder the fate of the less fortunate. Armed with this insight, we mobilized ourselves forming Kathlex Medical Center which is a division of Kathlex
International Group located in McDonough, GA. USA. Throughout the years we have teamed up with several non-profit organizations forming small medical convoys, visiting small places to
lend our services in both medical and dental care to some of the most remote communities.
